Hey-Hey! Courtney again creating with a few products to complete a Poly-Towel craft. While using a Gel Press Plate and Brayer and Iron-on-Ink Markers I accomplished a fun pattern on an Artesprix Poly-Towel. 

What are Artesprix Sublimation Markers?

Artesprix Sublimation Markers are specialized ink markers that let you design and then transfer from copy paper to your polyester product with a heat source. 

Materials and Tools: 

• Copy Paper 
• Markers 
• Gel Press Plates 
• Gel Press Brayer 
• Protective Paper 
• Heat Tape 
• Heat Press 

Step-by-Step Tutorial: 

Step 1: First, I taped 2 pieces of copy paper together to get full coverage of design space on the Poly-Towel. 

Step 2: Next, I used the Artesprix Sublimation Markers by coloring on the Gel Press Plate with the Original Iron-on-Ink Markers. 

Step 3: When the Gel Press is colored, I used the Gel Press Brayer to roll the design onto the copy paper.  

 

Step 4: Then I taped the Poly-Towel to the design on the copy papers, and I also made a Sublimation Sandwich to ready it for the heat press. Press the Poly-Towel for 45 seconds and 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 5: Lastly, when the heat pressing was complete, I practiced my peek test to make sure my design transferred nicely.
